Captain Dan’s Fishing Charters--Saltwater Fly & Light Tackle
Captain Dan Pangaldi offers bay, inshore and nearshore light tackle & fly fishing trips in New Jersey waters. We primarily fish in the Great Bay and Little Egg Harbor area which has diverse fishing grounds for striped bass (spring & fall), summer flounder, bluefish, weakfish, black sea bass and blackfish (tautog).
We will fish on my 2022 Parker 23’ Special Edition powered by a Yamaha F225 V6 outboard. My vessel is equipped with a bow mount trolling motor, Garmin electronics and full safety gear.

If you would like to learn or improve your fly casting skills, I offer casting lessons. The lessons can be on the water integrated with your fishing trip or at a convenient location on land. Small groups are welcome.
My mission is to teach and help folks including children enjoy their time on the water. If you are new to fishing, I will patiently coach on learning techniques to be successful on the water. If you are an experienced angler, we will work together and maybe you will learn something new.
I offer professional consulting with outfitting if you’re new to the sport. If you’re purchasing a fishing boat, fly fishing, spinning or conventional fishing outfits, tackle or planning for a remote fishing trip, I can assist you. There are a lot of decisions to make…I have the experience and knowledge to help you save time and money.
Rates:
Full day $600 -- 7-8 hours ocean or ocean & bay fishing
Half day $400 -- 5 hours bay fishing
All bait, tackle and water included.
Feel free to bring your own gear.
Pack a lunch or snacks.
Bring a rain jacket and maybe an extra layer of clothing.
