What we offer in WNY:
Introduction to Fly Fishing for Beginners
Spend a 1/2 day (3-4 hours) with our staff learning the art and technique of fly fishing. This is a great way to get started, and you’ll learn how to handle a fly rod, work on your casting and understand the basic knots to get you out on the water.
1/2 day Fly Fishing Intro Class--$200 for 1 person, $50 for each additional person
Each class will cover:
·Tackle Setup/rigging up
·Knots
·Fly Fishing Terminology
·Flies--Identification of basic insects and the imitations that match them
·Casting Instruction--basic types of casting that you will need to be successful.
Two hour casting lessons on the "lawn" are $100 person, $50 for each additional person, up to four anglers.
Bring your own gear, or we can provide it.
Private Group? No problem!
Get 4-6 people together and we can arrange a private beginner class just for you and your family or friends.
Consider a 1/2 day guided trip, where we combine instruction with guided fishing and the chance to catch trout or bass on the stream.
